There are several points given below that cause this error.
The very first reason is that you have a virus on your computer.
File Copy Service is not supported in your computer system.
You don’t own a payroll subscription.
Some vital files of QuickBooks may be deleted by other software.

The error name and the code QuickBooks error 15243 will appear on the screen.
Your input with the help of a keyboard or mouse will be slow.
Your system will crash repeatedly.
Methods to resolve QuickBooks error 15243 are:
Method 1: Enable the FCS service
The following procedure enables the FCS service to get rid of this error.
Firstly, click on the windows logo and R together, and “Win+R” after that run window will show up.
After that, put down “COMPMGMT.MSC” and hit “Ok.”Then click on the last option, called Services and applications; click on “Services.”
A long list will show up on the screen, and you need to scroll down to find the option “Intuit QuickBooks FCS” and double-click on that.
Then reach down to Startup type and then select “Manual.”
Lastly, hit “Apply” and “Ok.”

Method 2: Authenticate your payroll subscription

Firstly, open Internet explorer and click on the settings like the icon on the top corner.
After that, select “Internet options.”
You will see three tabs above, and click on the “Security” tab.
Then, select the tick mark icon called “Trusted sites.”
Then, a box of trusted sites will pop up, including the URLs listed.
You must add the domains “*.quickbooks.com” and “*.intuit.com”.
You must add this domain “*.intuit.com” if you are a US user.
Then click on the option “Close.”
Lastly, hit “Apply” and “Ok.”
